About the
WMB Foundation
The WMB Foundation exists to create opportunities for individuals that inspire positive change in the community.
Tracing its origins back to 2017, the Walters, Melin, and Burau (WMB) Foundation began with a group of parents providing relief to families in need of financial assistance with hockey registration fees and equipment.
Since 2017, the WMB Foundation has grown into a 501(c)(3) organization driven by a simple but powerful belief: opportunity should never be out of reach.
We exist to open doors through sport, through community, and through meaningful connection, for individuals who may not have had the opportunity prior. From introducing first-time athletes to the joy of the game through our Try Sports for Free initiatives, to building and managing leagues that span the nation, our work is rooted in creating pathways where none existed.
At every level, the WMB Foundation is committed to inspiring participation, strengthening communities, and creating lasting impact for the greater good.
